Other than the beautiful Black Linn Falls at The Hermitage, there are a few other waterfalls that Jed and I went to as well.
On the way up the Gibson’s Cave and Summerhill Force is this unnamed fall. A 10-stop ND filter is used to obtain a long exposure which gives the silky-smooth effect to the cascading water.
A small climb brings us to the Gibson’s Cave and the Summerhill Force.
Next we went to the High Force. I kind of like the way the leaves were backlit.
After that, it’s on to Janet’s Foss. It’s interesting how the British name their falls – they have all sorts of variations which sounded alike – fall, force and foss.
Above the fall, barricaded by a small wooden fence is this small rapids. I climbed over the fence to get this shot.
And another composition of the same place, showing more of the surroundings.
