After shooting Loch Lomond, we went on to Loch Chon, another lake in the area. Along the way, we came across this at an unnamed lake near Loch Chon. The weather is still holding out pretty well, which provided the nice lighting that we all love. I posted this shot on Facebook and a friend commented that it looked like a painting by John Constable.
Eventually we arrived a Loch Chon. Took a shot a house by the lake, with some rocks for the foreground. The lake was pretty still at this time, which made for some near-perfect reflections.
Jed was shooting the other direction and alerted me to this wonderful scene which wasn’t there when we first arrived. 3 staggered clouds in the otherwise empty sky and the perfect reflection on the lake made for a beautiful picture.
Again, the same shot taken vertically, with more emphasis on the clouds and reflection.
