Our final stop is Loch Katrine, where we also stopped at the Stronachlachar Pier Tea Room for a drink and some snacks. It’s a cosy little place and the owner appears to be a photography enthusiast as well, working on some beautiful photos which he’s taken in the morning.
Outside the tea room, we can get a nice view of Loch Katrine and the mirror-like reflection. It’s very nice that the weather has held up so well.

On the way back to Edinburgh, we saw this layering of the mountains in the mist, backlit by the afternoon sun. I had to take a picture.
