Located in The Hermitage at Dunkeld, Scotland, Ossian’s Hall is a little nondescript building which overlooks the Black Linn Falls. It’s the beginning of fall, so the trees have started to change colour, which makes a good backdrop for the little house.
Entering the house reveals a lookout point for the Black Linn Falls. Again, the fall colours of the trees make for a nice backdrop for the falls. With a long exposure, the rapidly flowing water is reduced to a silky blur.
The shot below is taken at f/22 at 0.6s. I also had another 2 with very much longer exposures of 30s but spoilt by the spray from the waterfall, which caused it to have a hazy effect. So I am only posting the earlier one.
And here is a video of the fall.
